Choosing the right preschool for your child | Teach Preschool.

Deborah, from Teach Preschool has written a great reference for parents on how to go about selecting the right preschool for your child. She has included a list of questions that parents may want to ask the teacher or director of the preschool. The most important factor though in my opinion, is that you and your child feel accepted and appreciated. After all, we are teaching “your baby” and the future leaders of the world. This is a very important mission!     NOTE: While Deborah has written a terrific article, one of my coworkers pointed out to me that Location is listed as #1 on the list of items to consider when looking for a preschool. Many factors should be considered but the preschool’s philosophy and teaching methods should be reviewed first. The value of Play should NOT be underestimated! Too many of today’s preschools focus on “Academics” and don’t allow enough time for playing.
